Leading Vinyl Record Manufacturer Takes Advantage of Opportunity in Burlington

In 2016, Precision Record Pressing set up shop in our city, feeling Burlington presented a fantastic opportunity for their business in terms of location and access to industry players.  The first record they pressed was for The Tragically Hip’s final album, Man Machine Poem.  Since that time, they have pressed millions of records for major record labels representing artists such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Dave Chappelle and more. 

Precision’s home is a 35,000 square foot state-of-the-art production facility, one of North America’s largest vinyl pressing plants.  They employ 80 staff, including account managers, press operators, quality control specialists and more.  

Precision’s owners have no desire to relocate, feeling they have found in Burlington a diverse city consisting of safe neighbourhoods, protected rural spaces, top festivals and unique attractions, all in one package. They note their roots are firmly planted here, and are looking forward to enjoying all the amenities our city has to offer for many years to come.
