EarthFresh moved their operations to Burlington in 2014, and their business has flourished since. EarthFresh has taken advantage of Burlington’s ideal location that provides access to global markets and supply chains through our major highways, international and private airports, seaports, cargo railway networks and Canada/US land border crossings. This advantage is important to EarthFresh because of their reliance on logistics to move massive tonnage of products around North America. EarthFresh believes that its success is, in large part, due to its employees. Tom Hughes Sr., Founder of EarthFresh (formally known as MacKay & Hughes), and his family have lived in Burlington for over 40 years and know what a great place it is to raise a family.
