Technology Firm Chooses Burlington for Its Transportation Network and Work-Life Balance

CareGo is a technology firm that provides products and services to manufacturers looking to move, store and retrieve heavy products with ease, safety and efficiency. CareGo’s primary market is in the Hamilton area, but they chose Burlington for their global head office and production facility due to our superior transportation network and terrific work-life balance.

CareGo took advantage of the fact that as part of Halton Region, we have 19 Post-Secondary Institutions accessible within a one hour’s drive from which to attract new talent, and to partner with on research and development opportunities. They cited our city’s low crime rate and affordable housing as additional factors that contributed to their decision to locate here.

CareGo leased an office here in 2014. It proved to be a good fit, as within three years they decided to make Burlington their permanent home and have since purchased a building for their operations.
