Global Design and Manufacturing Company Calls Burlington the Silicon Valley of Ontario

Aslan Technologies leads the way in innovative and sustainable water and energy management solutions for a variety of industries. To date, it has over 3000 turnkey, packaged and modular solutions in play around the globe, including customized drinking water, sewage treatment and chemical injection equipment installations. It has also supplied purified packaged water to communities impacted by natural disasters.

It chose our city for its headquarters and production facility in part because of the water tech companies already operating here, and our city’s reputation as a leading technology hub. It was also attracted to the partnership opportunities available with government, academia and non-profit organizations. The area’s skilled talent, government incentive programs, quality of life and close proximity to the American border were also deciding factors.

In five years, Aslan has doubled its employee count and opened a second office and manufacturing facility, adding an extra 20,000 square feet to its operations. The company’s team members proudly refer to Burlington as the “Silicon Valley of Ontario.”
