2016 Economic Forecast: Let’s Talk Exports is Only One Week Away!
April 19, 2016
BEDC hosting 10th annual Economic Forecast: Let’s Talk Exports with Peter Hall April 26, 2016.
Every year, EDC’s Chief Economist Peter Hall travels across Canada delivering the latest insights into the global economy, providing companies with the information they need to plan for a successful year ahead. The event attracts more than 1,500 professionals across the country.
According to Peter Hall, “The global economic situation we’re in right now is truly unique. Volatility is making the headlines, with plunging equities, commodity prices currencies, but hand-in-hand with that turbulence is real economic growth, driven in large part by the ‘engine’ economy of the U.S.”
Peter Hall also explained that, “During the ‘Let’s Talk Exports’ tour, I’ll break down the global economic situation and explain what it means for you, the Canadian exporter. I’ll be your personal economist for the day and respond to your questions about the dollar, interest rates, forecasts for your sector or whatever else in the economy is concerning you. There are international opportunities to be had right now for Canadian exporters, and I hope to help you find them.”
Let’s Talk Exports is your chance to get the most up-to-date information available on what the global economy has in store for exporting businesses of all sizes, in all sectors. Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to get the information you need to plan for a smart year ahead.
Let’s Talk Exports is taking place in Burlington on April 26, 2016 at the Holiday Inn from 7:30-9:30am.
